Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who is born in Afghanistan. She fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father and an Indian father and a Russian mother. She created a choreography that earned her the privilege of appearing on German TV as the Russian snowmaiden, who then transformed into a Indian dancer. She graduated from high school within New York before earning a Bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Following school, she began acting classes at the HB Studio, but she left to study improvisation with the Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. She was raised within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, and Russian-speaking mom Olga. When she was just 13 her parents divorced. Her father relocated her household to East Meadow New York. Television actress most famous for her character as the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. She played a recurring character on the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
